Culture in a country is an important aspect that you should know when you are thinking to travel to anywhere. There are a lot of differences between Colombia’s culture and United State’s culture for example in the way we cook, in the way we care our private properties and the way we get fun, all those differences I am going to show you.

In Colombia the way we cook is very different than United States cooking, I have seen in United States people cook very fast and food is almost ready when people buy it while in Colombia people cook slower and take their time, I think Colombian food is healthier than American food.

Secondly I have seen private property in United States is less protected, for example people leave cars on streets or even in front of their houses while in Colombia people don’t want to leave their cars on streets because they think their cars can be stolen, I Colombia people always search for a parking o leave their cards in a very safety place.

Thirdly, the way people have fun in a bar in the United States is very different than Colombian way, for example here people just talk and drink in a bar while in Colombia everybody drink and talk while they are dancing. In Colombia is part of our culture to dance in all social reunions, while in United States is not part of their culture.

In brief there are a lot of differences between countries’ culture, and is a great idea research about a country’s culture before to travel because you will be prepared and in that way you won’t get a strength cultural shock as you can get if you doesn't research about it.
